Monarch lovers throughout North America are called to join their efforts during this week. The goal? Capturing the state of monarchs\u2019 breeding habitats in Canada.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Participation is simple! Just complete one or more missions during the Blitz, which extends from July 26 to August 4, and tell us what you saw. To do this, <\/span><a href=\"\/mmapp\/en\/users\/signup\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">create an account<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and then <\/span><a href=\"\/mmapp\/en\/submit\/submit-data\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">share your observations online<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Feel free to share your observations with the Mission Monarch community on social media with the hashtag #MonarchBlitz!<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3><span style=\"font-family: var(--heading--font-family); font-size: var(--heading--font-size-h3); letter-spacing: var(--heading--letter-spacing-h3); background-color: var(--global--color-background); color: var(--global--color-primary);\">2024 Activities!<\/span><\/h3>\n<div class=\"row\">\n<div class=\"col-xs-12 col-sm-8\">\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Several activities will be held online or in person across North America during the Blitz. Here is a list of activities that will take place in Canada. Join us!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"background-color: var(--global--color-background); color: var(--global--color-primary); font-family: var(--global--font-secondary); font-size: var(--global--font-size-base);\">Les Butineries &#8211; Celebrating Pollinators : July 26th-28th, from 10 am to 5 pm<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"ui-provider er bri awc brj brk brl brm brn bro brp brq brr brs brt bru brv brw brx bry brz bsa bsb bsc bsd bse bsf bsg bsh bsi bsj bsk bsl bsm bsn bso\" dir=\"ltr\">&#8220;Les Butineries&#8221; is a family-friendly event with fun activities based on insect pollinators, information kiosks with experts, and two unique evening events for watching nocturnal insects in a festive environment. The festival will take place from 10am to 5pm all throughout the Insectarium&#8217;s pollinator garden, and in the evenings from 8pm to 11pm at the Botanical Garden&#8217;s &#8220;Carrefour des Saveurs.&#8221; The whole event is FREE! Official promotion of the event and the programming schedule will be available later in June.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Mission Monarch and ALUS Project Demonstrations at HLF Farm: July 28 and August 4, from 1 pm to 4 pm<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This agrotourism activity is an excellent opportunity to learn more about the Monarch and the ALUS Program in the Outaouais region. The visit to HLF Farm at Lac Simon will offer you the chance to learn how to document and promote the presence of milkweed and monarchs. You will also be able to discover windbreak hedges and riparian buffers developed through the ALUS program. This unique experience will not only allow you to observe these features but also to actively contribute to the Mission Monarch citizen science program. For more information, here is the link to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/events\/843925417273511\/843925423940177\/?ref=newsfeed&amp;locale=fr_CA\">Facebook event<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mission Monarch Activity at Pure Conscience Farm: August 3, from 11 am to 12:30 pm<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This activity will take place at Pure Conscience Farm, located at 57 Chemin Ragged Chute in Bristol.<\/p>\n<p><strong>GRAME Booths: July 26 and 27<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Three booths will be set up by GRAME in Lachine, Dorval, and the South-West! Visit them to learn more and ask your questions about monarch migration and life. All necessary materials for embarking on the mission and starting the identification of monarchs and milkweed will be provided!
